Jo is honoured to have been chosen to serve as the Sheriff of the City of Lincoln for a second term. Jo was brought up and went to school in her mother’s home town of Louth. Moving with her mum to Lincoln in 1989, she has been here ever since.
After attending North Lincolnshire College, Jo became a trainee administrator on the government’s Employment Training scheme and obtained a work placement at local business, Warranty Administration Services. Enjoying the opportunities provided at Warranty Admin, Jo is now a part owner and director – and in April 2017 celebrated 25 years since joining the company.
Over the last 5 years, Jo has become more involved in local business community, and is a member of BNI in Lincoln’s Olympians Chapter. This has provided a fantastic opportunity for Jo, who has spent over 2 years leading the chapter as Chapter President, and presently holds a more regional role as the Chapter’s Ambassador. Jo also attends Lincoln’s Business Club when possible.
A regular at Lincoln Golden Eagle public house, Jo plays in the crib team who compete in the Lincoln & District Crib League. Jo is the treasurer of the team, and was part of the team when they won the winter and summer leagues in 2011, as well as pairs champion in 2012.
Jo has a very close family, and she enjoys spending time with them whenever possible.
Jo is looking forward to an exciting year, including
- The Royal Garden Party,
- 50/51 Squadron Memorial Service,
- Various Civic Services around the County,
- Armed Forces Day and
- Meeting the Lord Mayor of London.
